Bahrain Development Bank has announced the appointment of Mrs. Hend Mohamed Mahmood as Chief Human Resources Officer, as part of the Bank’s strategy to build up its executive management team with qualified Bahraini competencies.
Mrs. Hend brings with her extensive experience in the field of Human Resources for over 20 years, as she was working in Bahrain Airport Company leading the Human Resources and Administration Department as a Vice President for 11 years before joining the bank.
During her rich experience, Mahmoud also held the position of Human Resources Director & Board Secretary at Tharawat Investment House, a Gulf investment company for major investors. Prior to that, she worked as Senior Manager of Human Resources at Eskan Bank.
Mrs. Mahmood holds a MSc degree in Work and Organizational Psychology from University of Nottingham, UK and a BSc degree in Business Management from University of Bahrain.
In this regard, Mrs. Dalal Al Qais, GCEO of the Bahrain Development Bank, welcomed Hend Mahmood to the senior management to work alongside the team to achieve the Bank’s strategy and future directions. She also stressed the bank’s continuous endeavor to attract national competencies that are qualified to implement the bank’s goals within the aspirations of the Board of Directors and contribute to strengthening the bank’s leading role in development and providing high quality services to its clients.
On her part, Mrs. Hend Mahmood expressed her gratitude to the bank and her eagerness to start working with the BDB team.
