17 Jan 2021: BSF has completed the first phase of a 3-year Core Banking transformation program, aimed at materializing BSF’s ambition to be the most modern, innovative and customer-centric bank in the region. The program is on-track to be fully delivered by 2022.
The deployment of the new Core Banking platform will ultimately provide a better customer experience to the bank’s Retail, Corporate and Institutional customers through tailored product offerings and enhanced digitalization. The new platform will deliver greater efficiencies for the bank through quicker product development, better automation and faster transaction execution. The first release of the program focused on retail lending and has been delivered within a year, a commendable achievement considering the complexity associated with a Core Banking transformation.
